To support our growing operations, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator - Food Ordering Specialist to join our dynamic team.
As an Inventory Coordinator - Food Ordering Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory for our warehouse operations.
Your primary responsibility will be to analyze sales data, forecast demand, and efficiently order pre-packaged food items from our trusted vendors.
Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will contribute to maintaining optimal inventory levels, preventing stockouts, and meeting customer demands effectively.
Responsibilities:
Analyze sales data and trends to anticipate demand for pre-packaged food items.
Collaborate with the sales and warehouse teams to understand inventory needs and sales projections.
Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing, place orders, and ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and proactively address any shortages or overstocks.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and vendor communications.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.
Implement and improve inventory management systems and processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
Generate reports on inventory status, sales trends, and vendor performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the food industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with vendors.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
