Licensed and Certified HVAC/Refrigeration TechnicianMinimum 5 years field experienceIn-Depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration unitsAbility to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC/R SystemsProficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systemsType I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency Certification for refrigerant handlingAbility to stand, crouch, kneel, and lift up to 60 poundsValid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle recordAbility to install, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment is a plus
Responsibilities:
Be able to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systemsPerform standard installation and maintenance of HVAC/R equipmentTrack and manage inventory to ensure parts and equipment needed for repairs and maintenance are readily available Self-motivated with the ability to think and diagnose problems independentlyStrong ability to communicate clearly and effectively HVAC/R equipment issuesCommunicate with manufacturers as needed to help with diagnoses and parts identificationJob hours M-F 8am-5pmPay scale $30-40 an hour depending on experienceWe are looking for a highly qualified, detail-oriented HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to manage and maintain HVAC/R systems at various commercial and residential properties.
You will be required to identify problems with units and perform routine maintenance or repairs when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of field experience and be able to demonstrate their ability to diagnose and repair HVAC/R units.
In addition, you should be able to describe with efficiency the status of the equipment and any details regarding the process of resolving the issues.
The candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of taking direction.
