Dealer Sales Representative

Has responsibility for:
Retaining and expanding companywide relationships and soliciting new retail business from prospective franchise and independent dealerships and marketing all the Company's auto finance programs to the Owner(s), Sales Manager(s), and Finance Manager(s) to establish new business relationships
Calling on existing or prospective dealers within the framework of a retail business development call program
Developing leads, establishing priorities, and preparing itineraries
Meeting with dealers or prospects to discuss their needs, outlining appropriate company services, and resolving problems as necessary
Monitoring performance of all active dealerships in the market, using data supplied by the Company and general information available in the market to determine future action ended to maintain or develop the relationships further, taking initiative in identifying the proper activities
Documenting calls and results
Achieving sales goals through the effective execution of the above activities
Maintaining close relationship with Senior Management and appropriate company personnel
Discussing dealer needs, problems, or complaints
Referring the inquiries of dealers and prospects regarding other products and services offered by the Company to the appropriate personnel in other functional areas
Keeping up to date on new retail products and services
Acting as liaison between branch offices and SVP Consumer Lending regarding all marketing activities and working with marketing representative to implement approved marketing initiatives
Representing the Company in various civic and community functions to further enhance its image and develop additional business
Providing functional guidance to branch personnel
Assisting Regional Indirect Lending Manager with complex accounts or situations that may develop within the dealer portfolio
Working as part of a team
Working with onsite equipment
Requirements4 year degree in business related subject preferred, 5-7 years sales related experience essential, knowledge of financing procedures, customer service experience, proven organizational and communication skills, self motivated and positive attitude, ability to analyze financial data, attention to detail essential.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
