Position Overview
Responsibilities:Coordinates the development of new product developments from concept through finished product.Creates innovative new products and/or processes to expand market share and fill competitive needs.Resolves technical issues on new products.Understands product quality and technical requirements and help resolve issues required to bring new products to market.Expedites all development trials and product introductions to meet timing requirements.Keeps detailed records of how trials processed.Assists in determining product construction and process required to meet performance criteria at the lowest manufacturing cost.Coordinates all testing needed to meet customer expectations, market and federal requirements.Obtains and submits material for testing. Assure that all testing is expedited through Technical Services and results communicated.Participates in team efforts to develop new products for R & D.Visits machine manufacturing companies to maintain up to date knowledge of new machinery technology.

Requirements:4 year degree required; engineering or technical degree preferred.2 years of Manufacturing knowledge/experience required; carpet or hard surface preferred.
Preferred:Direct formulation and process knowledge (i.e. experience with sheet extrusion and/or palletizing)Laminating experienceChemistry or Chemical Engineering Degree
Work Shift
8 hour, day shift

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
