Profile Lead - D Shift
Position Overview
Responsibilities: Will lead a team of hourly associates to achieve targets established for safety, service, quality, cost, and continuous improvement.
+ Set up profile, cutting and packaging equipment.
+ Make machine/process adjustments on line and on computer.
+ Visual inspections of the profile process and machinery.
+ Assist the Production Process Coordinators in the daily production of quality Rigid Flooring in the safest, most efficient and productive manner, by utilizing established methods and procedures.
+ Assist in the training and assessment of new hires/transfers to the department. Ensuring that they are able to perform their jobs as outlined in the applicable job descriptions.
+ Communicate between shifts to insure proper handoff to the following shift
+ Communicate with Process Coordinator regarding any changes, problems, or concerns about which knowledge may be needed to run the shift.
+ In the absence of the Process Coordinator, will assume all duties and responsibilities of that position.
+ Following the specific instructions on each order. Properly identify product and label on assigned lines.
+ Maintaining operation of the profile process as well as: visual inspection of the quality of the product and visual control of the profile line to include but not limited to defects and grading.
+ Monitoring information such as what material is in the process or available including inventory, actual levels and usage rates.
+ Relieve Profile Operator for breaks and lunches.
+ Serve as department back-up for timekeeping system (Kronos).
+ Perform pre-profile checks.
+ Ability to understand and enter data. Monitor, measure and record critical quality testing results.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
+ Must have the ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math.
+ Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Must be able to pass a color blindness and vision test.
+ Must be familiar with or willing to learn current computer systems and software.
+ Must be able to operate a lift truck once trained.
+ Must have the ability to be cross trained for other jobs.
+ A high-school diploma or equivalent.
+ Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
+ Ability to sit, stand or walk for twelve (12) hours.
+ Ability to bend, stoop, squat, lift, carry and reach occasionally.
+ Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
+ Passion and track record of achieving results
+ Proven ability to work collaboratively with all levels of associates.
+ Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions.
Preferences:
+ Resume is strongly recommended
+ Previous manufacturing experience.
+ Laminating / Milling / Extrusion process experience
+ Experience with continuous manufacturing processes.
Work Shift
12 hours, night shift

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
