Here's an extremely nice quality Manual Rodriguez classical guitar constructed of all-solid Rosewood body and solid CedarTop. Made in spain with a new retail value of over $1500. This guitar features the well-known "Spanish Heel" design and is made with sides and back of book-matched Rosewood and attractive black-red-white herringbone purfling and wood body bindings round out the look. It is currently strung with Aranjuez Concert gold 700 low gauge and the tone is clear and resonant. The guitar is in excellent playing condition with only a few extremely light marks. No play wear, no dents, digs, splits or cracks in this beautiful spanish guitar. The neck is very straight and the action is comfortable with room at the bone saddle for future adjustment if desired. This guitar has been professionally modified. 1. The headstock has been squared off for a more streamline look. 2. The neck has been slightly tapered at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd frets to accommodate a narrower 48mm nut with only a small change in string spacing. This makes it similar to the newer hybrid style nylon string guitars on the market today. It also makes it easier for the steel string player who want to transition to a classical nylon string guitar without having to deal with a 52mm wide nut. It's a great modification also to allow any person with smaller hands who desires to play a high-quality classical guitar that normally would not have the smaller neck and nut width.
